The Brooks Bandits rewrote the AJHL record books as they prepare to host the National Junior A Championship, propelled to the top of the standings by a winning streak that will stretch into the postseason. The Bandits fell 4-3 to the Calgary Mustangs on Nov. 27 and have not lost since, rattling off a league-record 33 consecutive victories. They set records for wins (57) and points (114), and topped the league at both ends of the ice – 334 goals for, 125 goals against. William Lemay claimed the AJHL scoring title (32-58—90), the first of five Bandits in the top 16. On the back end, Pierce Charleson led the league in wins (42), while Tanner Marshall posted an AJHL-best 1.33 GAA while going perfect in 12 starts.
