The Thunderbirds opened the season with a nine-game winning streak and never slowed down, finishing atop the league in goals for (221), goals against (145), power play (22.1%) and penalty kill (86.6%) en route to a 16-point cushion over Hearst. Lucas Theriault (40-36—76) and Noah Boman (24-52—76) did the damage up front, taking the top two spots in the NOJHL scoring race, while Colin Ahern and William Anderson shared the netminding duties; Anderson was second in the league with a 2.40 GAA, while Ahern finished second with 24 wins.
