Canada 4 - Calgary AAA Buffaloes 8 Exhibition CALGARY, AB – Canada played its second game in as many nights, and with the travel schedule of late, the team looked a little spent. Calgary opened the scoring 39 seconds in, and the Buffalos Mike Connolly added two more before the period was out. Dana Antal replied for Canada with five minutes left in the first, but trailed 3-1 after one period of play. Canada pulled within one when Vicky Sunohara ripped one from the left circle, but the Buffalos responded with three more second period goals. Canada would add one more before the period was out when Meghan Agosta riffled a point shot past Brad Olinyk. Down 6-3 heading into the third, Calgary pulled away increasing its lead to 8-3 as Mike Connolly finished off the hat trick. Hayley Wickenheiser added a late Canadian goal to reduce the deficit to 8-4. Charline Labonte came on in relief of Sami Jo Small after a 17 save effort after two periods, making 12 saves in the third. Canada will now travel to St. Albert on Sunday before playing Monday and then traveling down to Red Deer on Tuesday.
