Hockey Canada Foundation Impact

Since becoming an official charity in 2000, we have donated over $13.3 million to various grassroots programs across Canada, and raised over $9.6 million through fundraising events in partnership with our generous donors and supporters. All of this work has come from, and is driven by our three core pillars – Enabling every Canadian to have access to hockey, educating players, coaches and volunteers, and Engaging Canadians with hockey's unique ability to promote the best aspects of Canada.

Enable

To enable hockey means to make the game a reality for people who might otherwise never get the chance to play. It’s a goal that comes from our deeply-held belief that all Canadians should be included in the game – regardless of their gender, geography, socio-economic status, or background.

Educate

Hockey Canada ensures that players, coaches, and parents all have access to the best available information and resources on hockey. We are dedicated to keeping the game growing in a manner that is driven by information and healthy, sustainable practices.

Engage

We believe hockey represents and promotes the absolute best parts of Canada. We work to use the game as a tool to engage the Canadian public with the constructive values of honesty, hard-work, inclusion, and integrity. For years we have been building around hockey in the pursuit of building a better Canada.
