Quotes: “Our players are adjusting [to new line combinations] well. I think sometimes when you mix the lines up and move guys around, it can help inspire them a little bit more. We do not always change lines for a negative reason, but right now we are just trying to find the right pieces and we are looking to assemble the best roster possible for the Paralympics. We are playing different players in different positions and seeing who can build chemistry, and if we find a line that is working well together, we are going to leave it and make adjustments elsewhere.” - Head coach Ken Babey (Calgary, Alta.) on making adjustments to the lines
“I think we came out better this morning than we did last game. We are just looking to bring that forward into our next two games and continue to focus on the areas where we want to be better. It is exciting moving up to play forward, and any time you play with people like [Ben] Delaney and [Billy] Bridges you need to take advantage of their skill set. It is great playing with them, and we just want to keep building chemistry and producing on offence.” - Hickey on the team’s performance and his linemates
“We have played two good games against Korea so far. It is a great opportunity for our team to work on a lot of our tactics and systems that we need to fine tune. Any international game is a good opportunity to improve, and it helps us get used to our linemates, work on some new line combinations and build some chemistry for the season and the Paralympics.” - Jacobs-Webb on building towards the Paralympics
