Named assistant chef de mission for Canada’s Olympic Team for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi.
She has been teaching physical education at the Cégep du Vieux-Montréal for the past eight years
Is a technical consultant for the Carabins (University of Montreal’ women’s hockey team) since 2008.
Since its creation, the team has taken part in two Canadian Championships finishing fifth in 2010 and winning a silver medal in 2012.
For the past two seasons, France has taken part in a mentorship program set up by the International Ice Hockey Federation working mainly with the French national junior team.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in physical education, France was a teacher for 14 years at the elementary and high school levels.
