Chris Herperger was named Canada's player of the game. Canada’s record falls to 2-1 and will face Germany in Hannover on Sunday afternoon to conclude the tournament.
Canada traveled to Hannover from Mannheim Friday morning after playing a late game on Thursday night. Canada was unable to score despite several quality chances early in the first period, including a full two minute 5 on 3 power play.
