BRIDGES SNIPES PAIR AS RED TAKES FIRST GAME OF CAMP MILTON, ON – Billy Bridges (Summerside, PEI) scored his second goal of the game with 1:13 left in the third period to give Team Red a 2-1 win over Team White at Canada’s National Sledge Team selection camp on Friday. Bridges beat Drew Rigden (Kincardine, ON) to break a 1-1 tie. Team White opened the scoring in the first on a goal by Bradley Bowden (Orton, ON). Red tied it in the second, as Bridges beat Rigden for his first goal of the game. The teams will meet again on Saturday, in the second of three Red-White games in Milton. |
