NOVEMBER 2-6, 2001 2001's Nations Cup was reduced to a three team field after the USA opted out. Canada's National Women's team went on to capture its third consecutive 3 Nations Cup championship, with a 5-2 victory over Finland, in Mikkel. Canada wins the 2001 Three Nations Cup with a 5-2 victory over the Finland. Sweden was held winless in its second straight Nations Cup.
