TSN CHALLENGE Ottawa, ON - Canada's National Women's Team faced Team USA in the opening game of the three-game TSN Challenge series on Tuesday in Ottawa, ON. Canada's Vicky Sunohara opened the scoring in the first period at 4:59 and then again at 7:25 as Canada pressed the USA in the opening period. Team USA made the score 2-1, as Cammi Granato scored on a power play at 14:06 on Canadian goaltender Charline Labonté who was playing in her 1st ever game with Canada's National team. Jenny Potter evened the score at 5:29 of the second period and then Laurie Baker gave the US a 3-2 lead at 8:04. Katie King made the score 4-2 at 2:56 the third period. Canada came inches from getting closer minutes
later but Nancy Drolet's drive was stopped on the goal line as it slipped by goaltender DaCosta. Karyn Bye
