HOCKEY CANADA WILL PLAY HOST TO FIRST-EVER IIHF WORLD WOMEN’S U18 CHAMPIONSHIP

CALGARY – Women’s hockey has been given another boost with the addition of a second world women’s championship, after the IIHF announced the creation of the IIHF World Women’s Under-18 Championship.

This inaugural championship will include the best female players under the age of 18 from eight countries. The championship will be held in Canada, in a city to be determined, from January 7th to 13th, 2008. » more
