  • Played for Team Canada at the 1989 IIHF World Junior Championship (fourth place)
  • Played for Team Canada at the 1988 IIHF World Junior Championship (gold medal)
  • Recorded 13 points (7 goals, 6 assists) in 14 games with Team Canada
  • Played 310 NHL games with Detroit, Calgary and Boston from 1989-97
  • Recorded 107 points (49 goals, 58 assists) in the NHL
  • Selected 80th overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft
  • Won the Calder Cup with the Adirondack Red Wings (AHL) in 1992
  • Played three seasons with the Swift Current Broncos (WHL) from 1986-89
  • Won the Memorial Cup with Swift Current in 1989
  • Named to the Memorial Cup All-Star Team in 1989
  • Won the WHL championship with Swift Current in 1989

  • Co-founder of Respect Group, which has trained more than one million Canadians to recognize and prevent bullying, abuse, harassment and discrimination in sports, schools and the workplace
  • Rollerbladed across Canada in 1998 in support sexual abuse victims, raising $1.2 million in donations
