Was named president of business of operations of the Los Angeles Kings on May 25, 2007 … In his current role, he oversees the Kings’ day-to-day operations and works closely with president/general manager Dean Lombardi ... Announced his retirement from professional hockey on April 11, 2006 ... On July 6, 2006, he was named president of the USHL’s Omaha Lancers … On January 20, 2007, the Kings retired Robitaille’s No. 20 at the Staples Center. He became the fifth player to have his number retired by the Kings, joining Wayne Gretzky (99), Dave Taylor (18), Marcel Dionne (16), and Rogie Vachon (30)

• Retired from the NHL after the 2005-06 season, after playing 19 seasons in the NHL with the Los Angeles Kings, Pittsburgh Penguins, New York Rangers and Detroit Red Wings
• Eight-time NHL all-star (2001, 1999, 1993, 1992, 1991, 1990, 1989, 1988)
• Named to NHL First All-Star Team five times (1993, 1991, 1990, 1989, 1988) and Second All-Star Team three times (2001, 1992, 1987)
• Won the Calder Trophy as NHL’s rookie of the year in 1986-87, after scoring 45 goals and registering 84 points
• Named to the NHL All-Rookie Team in 1987
• Played 1,431 games in the NHL, scoring 668 goals and earning 726 assists for 1,394 points
• Is the highest-scoring left-winger in NHL history
• Only left-winger in NHL history to score 40 goals in eight-straight seasons
• Played in the 1993 Stanley Cup Final
• Holds the NHL record for most goals (63) and points (125) in one season by a left-winger

PERSONAL

Resides in Holmby Hills, CA with wife Stacia and their two sons, Steven and Jesse ... Robitaille and his family recently created Shelter for Serenity (www.shelterforserenity.org), a disaster relief project that benefits victims of the Gulf Coast hurricanes … Played junior hockey with the QMJHL’s Hull Olympiques and was named Canadian Major Junior Player of the Year in 1985-86, when he had 191 points … Born on February 17, 1966 in Montreal, QC
