2012 Esso Cup

Hockey Canada in Partnership with Hockey PEI and the 2012 ESSO Cup Female Midget National Championship Committee are pleased to offer an opportunity for young girls and women in the Charlottetown area to participate in development programs throughout the ESSO Cup event.  For current female players Novice through Bantam we will be running a day camp that will include an on-ice skills session, on-ice 3 vs 3 games, off-ice activity and 2 tickets to a game on the final weekend of the 2012 ESSO Cup.

For new players to the game we will hosting 2 ESSO Fun Day events.  One targeting young female players and a second event targeting adult women wanting to try hockey for the first time.

For any females over the age of 16 Hockey PEI will be hosting a Coach Level Clinic “We are Coaches”.  This is an ideal program for women who want to get started in coaching hockey.

We are Coaches- Coach Level Clinic – Saturday April 21, 2012
The We are Coaches Program is designed to introduce females to coaching hockey in a fun non-threatening environment. As well as to increase the number of female role models in sport. The program includes classroom sessions for coach level training as well as an off-ice practical session.
