2012 Esso Cup

Fans attending Hockey Canada’s national events are welcome to take photos during games, provided they follow the following guidelines:

• video cameras, monopods, tripods and audio recording devices are not permitted
• no professional cameras – no SLR camera equipment (Hockey Canada defines a professional camera as a camera, digital or otherwise, with a detachable/interchangeable lens of any size or type)
• no flash photography
• any photos taken cannot be used for promotional or retail purposes without prior written consent from Hockey Canada

SLR cameras or professional photography equipment are strictly prohibited without Hockey Canada media accreditation and signed photo waiver.  To apply for accreditation, please fill out the form online on the specific event website.   Any individual that attempts to enter a Hockey Canada event venue with photography equipment outside of what is noted above will be refused entry into the facility unless they have been approved for media accreditation for the specific event they are attempting to attend. 

If individuals attempt to enter the building with photography equipment and without media accreditation, they will be asked to check the equipment at the door or leave the venue until appropriate media accreditation is acquired.
